Basically, there is a big Media launch in Croatia right now. Apparently its going to be a big update. I've heard so many rumours, but from everything I can put together it's looking like a pretty significant bike.

Specialized have been developing this bike for a long time. There is significant investment in this line (arguably the biggest seller in the world in terms of E Mountain Bike).

I think:

New Frame
Brose Mag S
700Wh+ battery
150mm rear
29" wheels
Crazy light weight (for an EMTB)

There's also potential for:
New Software (Mission Control has barely been touched)
New App
New smaller battery (no longer has the CPU parts etc in the battery so size is reduced)

There's also part of me that thinks it MIGHT be a brand new line of bike. This is just a hunch, don't know this for sure!

Hopefully some concrete info will be leaked from the launch. Be great if it was as your list @Rob Hancill . I heard the top 2 models would be the most wanted for some reason but they'll be out my price range.

I am with you Rob in that i think there will be a new bike between the kenevo and levo, i may be wrong, but it makes sense to keep a mildly updated version of the Levo in the line up and introduce something a bit more special at a higher price point.

higher price point? *crumbs!?*

the S-works is already the same price as a hatchback....

(i'll still get one though... Hatchbacks won't fit on my local trails ;o)

One thing specialized have never suffered from is a lack of people willing to drop big bucks on their top end bikes

I will be at the Dealers launch event in croatia (Rabac) in nearly two weeks. Maybe we will see some pictures before but when they presented the ned DEMO DH bike a few years ago in Leogang we all had to leave our cell phones and cameras outside the presenting room, so lets see what comes. I hope it´ll be under 20kg.

Well, dont know if they do separate presentations, but local LBS already attended this presantation in Croatia.
Unfortunately he can not reveal anything regarding Levo..:censored:, but he said, that I would be pleasantly surprised, completely NEW Levo.
Sadly we might see higher prices. Hope this anticipated unveiling won't be just full of hot air.

The embargo will end on the first day of the US dealer event in Morgan Hill. I am attending the second session from September the 8-11. I’ll take as many pictures as I can. Pictures and details may leak before then and they might even announce it next Tuesday based on past product announcements.

Looking at the 2019 Stumpjumper changes, hoping some of these transfer to the new Levo
  • 2019 Stumpjumper saves between 5% and 20% on the frame weight. Also, all of the carbon bikes are now full carbon, not just the S-Works. Previously the Comp Carbon and Expert only had front triangle carbon. The medium Stumpjumper saves 550g on the 2018 bike.
  • Lower head tube allows for a longer drop on the saddle. Standard post is 160mm drop.
  • New FSR design
  • Improved dropper post

Sweet improvements if they do similar on the levo, but at what cost to the bank account? Especially if they put the new S mag motor in to.

I'm so excited to see whats coming in the next few weeks! I'm itching to buy my first emtb and have been loyal to the brand having ridden Specialized MTB's since 1987! My mate still has my old 1991 Stumpjumper that I sold him back in 93!
I'm ready to spend some dollar!! :)
