Forgive my interest but I'm still a new convert to e mtb so do enjoy a YouTube hour or two checking out the vids from the big hitting YouTube channels with regards to e bikes or just plain old antiquated pedal powered mtb,s  .
There is a distinct lack of interest with regards to the cube range of bikes, are they considered the boring do it all bike for kid to grandad ? I have no idea but there is a definite lack of interest with regards to seeking out decent reviews.

I really like them and wanted one of the new 2020 Cube Stereo Hybrids with the new Bosch CX Gen 4 motor. When I went to the LBS agent in September 2019, the earliest delivery date was the beginning of May 2020. I kinda lost interest at that point.
(I ordered a Focus which, despite promises to the contrary, has yet to be delivered. I can't even get a firm date since "Week 51" came and went. So I should probably have bitten the bullet and ordered the Cube).

@GrahamPaul - it appears many bikes with the new Gen 4 motor are being pushed back. I have a Scott Tuned on order and has gone from Nov/Dec last year to March already.

Could well be. It certainly seems to be a popular motor. My wife loves hers.
(Forgot to mention, I ordered two bikes from Focus. My wife's arrived within the 6 weeks promised - actually a week early - and mine didn't  ).

In my local trails is one off the most seen ebike´s . One big factor is local shop good work and mouth to mouth marketing.

I was interested in one too.. 160 TM.. gen 4.. On paper and adv everything looks great but talking with Cube itself, Local distributors and shops offering Cubes nobody seemed interested in selling me one. We don't know when, We can order one specially for you but we cannot demoride.. and those kind of bs.. Seemed like mass customer brand and nothing I could really get my hands or relay on.
So I choose YT also German brand but at least not pretending to have service, dealership or being biggest one.. They do they job.. sometimes better sometimes worse but IMHO fair.

I guess this is why Cube don't get much of an internet / fun base attention. Cube itself base their business model and marketing on old fashion dealership and big dealers are interested in old fashioned mass customers sales..

I bought 2 of the new Cubes on Black Friday. They were delivered within a few days. However I think that is ONLY as the shop had them in stock. I guess that is the advantage of living in Germany. I looked at ordering from my LBS and they also couldn't give me a delivery date.
I agree that you see and hear way too little about the cubes. I find them to be pretty impressive.
Finished preparing both bikes at last last night.
I added:
Custom invisiframe to both bikes
Ergon saddles to both
Built in Lights to both (B&M IQX front and Supernova rear)
RaceFace Chester pedals
MarshGuards
New Ergon grips for my wife
A stand for my wife
A removeable carrier for my wife.

Anyway I am pretty happy with Cube up till now. This is my second.

Pics or didn't happen'

I purchased the 2020 SL hardtail begining of November. My LBS was next to useless (J.E James). they had no idea when the bikes would be in stock even though the bike was released in September. I tried to pre-order one and was told by my LBS that they had been in touch with Cube and that they had sold out!!
At this point i turned to the internet and purchased online from Wheelbase. got the bike 3 days later.

As I understood dealers have placed they're orders some months ago for the bikes they are receiving now. I had the luck my local seller received the model and size I wanted (I could eaven chose the color :-)
) . But there are costumers waiting for some time for other specs as demand is higher than production . I think they are assembling in Germany. So suppose they don't want to increase visibility for now.

I don’t even blame LBS.. it is not an easy life to sell bikes nowadays.. but it also makes buying bikes more complicated sometimes.
I actually love my local bike shop and their crew! But sometimes they can’t get for me things I want..

Supose they have sometimes to believe in the product and have some vision to order in anticipation. If they stand and wait to orders they risk to can't supply demand.

I totally agree with you.
I bought a Cube Stereo 160, 2020 in December from ebikeshop in Farnham and extremely happy with it.
No many reviews though. I’ve written a note to the Emtb channel on YouTube asking the same question like you and didn’t even get a reply. The only assumption I can draw is that many reviewers are very biased on the products they get given from manufacturers like specialised and haybike etc.

We used to see a lot more Cube chat when the forum first started - I think the simple fact is that now there are far more EMTB's on the market, and aside from Specilized which will always have the most amount of content due to ownership levels, we now see far more bikes being talked about.

When the Forum started it was pretty much Specilized, Trek, Haibike and Cube that dominated.

I didn't end up with a cube from research it just happened mainly through price, I originally went to a local shop to buy a 2019 140, it was heavily discounted at £2800. It became apparent it was to large for me ( the bike was a large).
Next to it was a medium 2020 bike, after sucking up the tech of the new bike and sitting on the thing I convinced myself I had to buy it.
That was just before Christmas. Love it to bits but I guess I would enjoy most makes given the opportunity . Mine is the entry level 140 with the 625 battery, it is good value compared to some other bikes.
The shop did say they couldn't get anymore until march but I tuck that with a pinch of salt. Cube is a massive producer of bikes so I would of thought supply was not a problem unless the problem of supply is else wear in the chain for components.
Obviously after buying my new toy that's when I went hunting for reviews

I guess it is also a bit of a country thing. and Marketing!
I don't see many Specialized ebikes here in Germany. But I see they are absolutely dominating the market in England.
Went for a nice 53km ride with my wife yesterday. Was lovely, and I enjoyed the extra battery range. Meant you didn't need to worry about if you will make it home in th dark when it is cold.

I think using your wife's battery as your spare, whilst she has to pedal with the power off, seems a bit selfish ! I hope you made dinner as she got home an hour later when it was cold and dark ! :)

I ordered a 2020 Cube Access with 4th gen motor for my wife in December and it arrived 3 days later. She loves it!!

I wish the U.S.A. Can get other brand EBikes but I’ve tried so many places to get other brands but so far no luck but I do know USA customs won’t allow shipping to me direct it has to be a company or some sort

Why are there so many videos on Youtube about Lamborghini's, compared to Toyota Yaris?

Cube bikes are middle of the road, average spec'd, average price. Nobody is going to click on a review of the next Stereo hybrid 140 (I would, but that's cause I own one). If you want a succesful youtube channel, you review the yummy carbon little diamonds, with that rare red Marzocchi fork, which costs as much as a Yaris.

Meanwhile every man and their dog rides a cube.
