Steps motor automatically turns itself off after a few mins if left stationary with noforce on the cranks.
So no.
Emtb motors don't really use much battery when the bike is stationary anyway.
If you ask for battery saving purposes. switch to a no assistance mode while pedalling once in a while and you can actually save some battery. (especially so if you do some climbing with no assistance)
