Yesterday I fitted a new PC-X1 chain.
Today I tested the chain and then had to scrub everything after a 35k ride.
The new chain is working better than the one supplied with the bike imho. Shifting gears feels smoother and a bit quieter now.

Not sure what the solution is for mud like this apart from trying to avoid it ?
The wheel was just spinning and losing traction.

The combi-guards look to have done the job. If you could have sunk a bit deeper, you should eventually have got some traction from your pedals ... :)

I thought my SRAM chain shifted a lot smoother than the KMC.

I always avoid horse turds when I ride. ?

I had the two smaller red spacers removed (left the larger grey one in) from my 2020 Levo Comp’s RockShox Deluxe Select+ shock...I previously had one token removed from the Lyrik...went on a 2 hour ride.

I’m using the majority of travel now...ride is more plush.

I turned my 2020 Levo Comp into a 29+ ebike...

WTB Vigilantes 29 x 2.8 front and back on i35 rims...not much clearance in the rear, had to take off my Will Hesch rear fender.

I won’t be able to test ride it till Saturday.

It’s also new shock day (Manitou McLeod 210 mm x 55 mm)

Dropped off my Turbo Levo 2018 at my LBS to swap out the RS Revelation Forks to Ohlins RXF 36 as well as swap out my brakes for a set of Shimano Saints which I bought second hand. Can't want to test it out next week!

10 mile ride on 29+ front and rear (WTB Vigilanties 2.8 with Vittoria Air-Liners - 17 psi rear, 15 psi front - no rubbing but not much rear clearance).

First ride on Manitou Mcleod 210 x 55...only needed 180 psi for 30 percent sag (needed 230 psi in stock Deluxe Select)...it felt more plush...great shock for the money (paid $262 new).

Still want to increase the Lyrik to 160 mm...

Still want to try coil...

Waiting for new ebike mullet wheelset...might switch back and forth between 29+ 2.8 and mullet with 3.0 plus tires (might also try cushcore).

Fitted 160mm airshaft in lyrik on my 2020 comp.

Wonder what they have done with these select forks/shocks as they need much more airpressure than 2019 models.
Select fork:
Now 115psi
2019 90psi

Deluxe select+: 240psi
Deluxe:180psi

Rider weight 88kg.

Some minor changes after a couple of rides on stock. Changed tyres as they weren't cutting it for the British winter. Went with dhf front and Eddy Current rear which are doing much better for what I ride. Also changed the brake pads as they seemed a bit dull, now have trickster power plus which seem to be better on downhills and as a bonus also reduced the amount of lever dead throw which is nice as there was too much of that before.

Chucked on the Central Coast rear fender and it works great, but the 2020 does have the updated frame that eliminates a lot of the old issues of excess mud entering the motor. Will keep it on for this very wet period though as it looks tidy and unobtrusive.

Had an issue whilst at a bike park where the dropper stopped working, took it to LBS where I bought it from and they sorted it whilst I waited. Was just the cable had been installed slightly too long and it came out of housing.

Loving the bike so far. Goodbye crowded uplift.

Found some carbon fiber vinyl laying around from another project and did a quick wrapping job on the top tube and seat tube :

btw, did your bikes come with clear vinyl applied already on the down tube? My 2020 levo comp came with a large piece on the down tube and some other smaller pieces throughout the bike. Not sure if it was the bike shop or specialized that did it

Yes it comes with that as standard Specialized stuff.

Has anyone found anywhere in the U.K to buy a Praxis 36T Chainring? They won't ship to the U.K and no one seems to stock it.

If you get really desperate I’d be happy to post one here from Oz.
That's much appreciated Christian, I've got a Hope Alley one I'm going to fit tomorrow to put me on for a while but ideally would prefer the Praxis Steel like the original.

I’m going to Specialized today to play with the new Crevo so I’ll see if they have any chainrings. I may just buy them anyway as there’s always people wanting them and I’d like to have some spares. I might start a small import business

It's crazy they have the in the states but Praxis won't send internationally.

Had the LBS install on my 2020 Levo Comp:

RC2 damper and increased my Lyrik to 160 mm.

Cane Creek DB Coil IL 210 mm x 55 mm (non Levo version - mounted upside down) with 650 lb spring

Large Mud Hugger rear fender

Dang, have to wait till the weekend to get a good ride in...

It was out of stock when I ordered mine too, but it was delivered in a couple of weeks.
They used to show expected due dates.
Have you tried calling them?

Took your advice and just gave them a call, they should be in stock in March but they let me place the order so I get one as soon as they come in stock. Thanks for the prompt (y)
