Is it ok for bikes with batteries fitted to be stored in warm rooms, such as conservatories?

Not really, the cooler the better for storage at least... these types of batteries are generally not fussy but just consider that they chemically store a lot of energy... they are agitated if left for a while fully charged or hot (even worse both togther).
Ideally store it if not going to be used for a few days between 40-80% charge.
Hotter temps amplify chemical reactions and cooler ones slow them, so for example 5°c will keep a fully charged battery happy in storage for longer, but its not such a good temp for using it. Its not advisable to leave them in hot cars, in the sun and such.

Batteries are supposed to be stored below 30 degrees C for best life, so it would be better to remove the battery and bring it indoors.
