Quick Release Front Mudguard ?

Does anyone do a quick release, demountable, but robust front mudguard?


I ask, because I transport my 25kg bike in the back of my estate car.
I remove the front wheel and turn the forks 90 degrees, to get it in.
It is easy and convenient.
Only downside (apart from the mud) this leaves the front of my bike resting on the fender / mudguard that then gets deformed.

If I could find an effective one that I could unclip when I take the wheel out, it would be great.

These clip in and out easily with a lever expanding a collar - might not be what you want though as it sits high and fitment can be funny on the downtube...

Same problem. Just ordered one. It also looks like it will do a better job of minimising splashes.
