Whyte ELyte
What owners actually know.
Whyte ELyte (British brand Whyte's lightweight carbon eMTB, 142mm rear / 150mm front, mullet-capable). Two strands: the original ELyte 140/150 on the Bosch Performance Line SX (launched 2023-24, ~19-20kg), and the 2025 ELyte EVO RS that swapped to the full-power Bosch Performance Line CX while keeping the lightweight chassis (~21-22kg, 400Wh internal plus a 250Wh PowerMore range extender). HONEST EARLY-OWNER LOG: only a handful of forum members own one, and the CX EVO RS deliveries had barely begun by the cutoff. This page is a small early log that will grow as more bikes land.

No reliability verdict yet.
Only a handful of forum members own a Whyte ELyte, and the new CX EVO RS deliveries had barely begun by mid-June 2026, so there is no durability or motor-fault record to draw on.
What the small early log does tell you is encouraging on the ride and honest on the trade-offs: every owner who rides one praises the handling and the lightweight, low-battery chassis, and on the SX 150 the build was good enough that one habitual tinkerer left it stock.
The trade-offs are the small 400Wh battery on the CX EVO (plan around the 250Wh extender, especially if you are heavier) and, on the SX 150, a frame that does not suit a coil so owners run air. Buy on Whyte's handling reputation and the lightweight concept, and check back as the early log grows.
