A solid all-round descender (65° head angle, 170mm) — capable in the rough and steep without being an all-out bruiser.
Level 2024
How current the bike is — newer chassis, motor and battery score higher. 10 = brand-new, 0 = legacy.

The 2024 Mondraker Level is the previous-generation, full-power super-enduro eMTB in the range, built around a 6061 aluminium Stealth Evo frame running Mondraker's Zero Suspension System with 180mm up front and 170mm at the rear on full 29in wheels. Power comes from the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 4 Smart System motor (85Nm) fed by a 750Wh Bosch PowerTube battery, putting it firmly in the heavy, long-range, descent-focused camp at roughly 26 to 27kg.
Geometry is long and slack across the board: a 65-degree head angle, 76.5-degree effective seat angle and reach growing from 450mm on the SM to 510mm on the XL, with consistent 455mm chainstays and a 357mm BB height. It is a stable, planted platform aimed at fast, rough enduro terrain rather than playful trail riding.
The three trims share the frame and geometry but climb steadily in kit. The R (£5,999) runs a RockShox ZEB coil and SRAM DB8 brakes, the RR (£6,999) steps up to a FOX FLOAT 38 Factory fork, DHX2 coil and Code Bronze stoppers, while the flagship XR (£8,499) gets Öhlins RXF 38 M.2 and TTX22 M.2 suspension, Code Silver brakes and a 10-52T GX Eagle drivetrain. All three roll on e*thirteen e*Spec alloy wheels with Maxxis Assegai DH-casing tyres.
What the numbers mean on the trail
Computed from this bike's geometry, spec and build kit — reach, wheelbase, chainstay, head and seat angles, travel, motor, weight and the fork/tyre/brake spec — and worked out per size, because a fixed chainstay can make an S and an XL feel very different.
More planted than poppy — better on steep terrain than tight, fiddly singletrack.
Balanced front-to-rear in L (FC:RC 1.84) — weight sits evenly between the wheels.
Climbs well — a 76.5° seat keeps the front planted. 600W of peak power and 85Nm of torque — a strong full-power motor.
No single standout trait — a balanced, versatile bike.
Brilliant on fast, rough, steep terrain; less fun on tight, mellow trails.
