YT Decoy Battery - Does Yours Flash!??

Hi Guys, I'm having problems with my Decoy. The Shimano Steps logo flashes on & off but it never gets to the main screen and won't start.

My LBS think it's the battery to motor connection. However, I've just noticed that the charge level lights on the battery flash on & off too. This has me wondering if the battery is at fault.

Yeah, I think the battery's died. I'm 8 months out of warranty, so that's going to come out of my wallet unless YT help me out. Let's see.

My Battery flashed, and so did the Display. The reason on mine was water in the charge port during heavy rain. After it dried up, it was ok again. Guess I was lucky.

Humidity in the charge port on YT Decoy. Fixed with a hairdryer.
