Your thoughts on SRAM's new DB 8 brakes

I think they are discontinuing the non stealth DB8 brakes.

You know you can get a whole DB8 for £20 + post ?

If that’s the case then it makes sense to replace the master cylinder and lever. Saves you the hassle of punching out the pivot pin.

The website says that;”Tool-free reach adjust for easy customisation”. But I don’t see that. You still need a 2.5mm hex tool for reach adjustment. Anyways, I’ve never disassembled a DB8 master cylinder, but I’ve rebuilt several several Magura master cylinder’s. The pivot pin is fairly easy to remove with a punch-tool.

The db8 levers seem to be a two-finger lever.
