Hello all. I ride a Gas Gas MXC6 with the new WP DVO cone valve suspension. (which I like). I have an opportunity to pick up a pair of pre-owned Flexx bars with a 12 degree sweep for $200. (half price of new) Im 67 and ride mainly Las Vegas desert single track at speed. The rock chop in certain sections (especially at speed) is starting to bother my wrists and shoulders. Will they help?Any concerns with the 12 degree sweep? Any negatives with running Flexx bars? Thanks in advance!

Old guy myself. I have those bars on both my ebiles, love them. You can get different elastomers to change compression & rebound, They are like having another 1" + suspension on the bike. A younger friend of mine has a set on his ebike as well.
I have 66 and am convinced that my next crash riding at speed is going to be the last one. So, messing with handlebars scares me. I would not buy second hand, and would only go with a trusted brand. all my handlebars are shimano, but on my lightest bike, wich has a carbon rigid fork, I have an enve carbon bar, with some flex, wich I would say less than 2 milimiters.
I broke my right wrist 4 times roadracing motorcycles and for about 6 years the only way I could race motocross was to use the Fasst-Flexx bars on my dirt bikes (I was much younger then). They made a huge difference.
At this point, the wrist no longer bothers me at all.

Fasst Flex are definitely one of the most comfortable bars. They only make one rise option which might be a possible limiting factor.
The correct sweep for you is dependent on your particular wrist to arm angle. Hold a 8 deg bar in your hand: if the straight part of the bar is parallel with your torso then 8 is correct for you; if instead the bar is at an angle away from you, this would indicate that a 12 deg bar would be more suitable.
The One Up bar is also a comfortable bar.

Yea.. have them on my husky 701 rally and my KTM 350xc. Off-road motorcycle suspension is sooo much plusher than MTB regardless of what suspension they have. I’m sure it has to do with the weight and other factors of course. MTB suspension beats you up compared to off road moto.

Spec sheet says this below for the stock GasGas bars. It does not state the sweep. Are most stock bars generally around 8 degree sweep?

I’d consider a OneUp bar and set of RevGrips as an alternative approach- worked really well for me, and also evidence based from lab testing
I have a set of Flexx bars on my dirt bike, they’re amazing, especially if you can get them at half price.
On the e-bike, I’ve had great luck with aluminum Pro Taper bars and RevGrips with washers set to full soft. Rode a demo Levo Pro on 2 rides earlier this week with the stock Race Face carbon bars and stock grips, and then rode my Levo Expert today with pro taper bars and revgrips, huge difference, my setup felt much softer with zero hand/wrist fatigue. Both bikes had similar tires, tire pressure, fork air pressure and settings.
