What not to do in Dalby Forest
The wife broke her wrist at New Year, both bones and twisted and that was just a little slip whilst walking.
We had to walk three miles back to the car with her holding it. She was a brave little soldier.

I think the surgeon's name was Dr. Frankenstien, and he was having a really bad day.
We hope it is better on the inside, but the movement in her fingers (or rather lack of) is a little worrying.

Worse bit.. is "I" am having to pick up dog shite :poop: "What in heavens sake is wrong with the other arm?"
That, and having to stay safe on the bike for a while.

We will get it sorted.
mate those are the ugliest I ever see :( it looks like a stitched vagina on your arm :)

i thought this bone was never breaking
It is a shattered heel. Most times, like with my other heel (calcaneus) injury it knocks the heel off. This one, I was not so lucky. Not an uncommon MTB injury and most common on the new electric city scooters. I would like to attribute this to a low BB like a real enduro racer, but it was from doing the dead sailer and sticking a leg down.

Over the bars early December ‘20. Had some kind of jam between chain and cassette and suddenly stopped. Felt like someone put a stick in the spokes! Anyway, 5 hours of surgery later...

Did you go for a ride through the sewage centre Have you thought about some mudguards

The pictures are both with and without mudguards. The front mudguard keeps the mud off the chest/face and the rear is useless.....but it has been very muddy.

my shoulders have had a bit of a battering the last 4 or 5 years with a total shoulder separation on left side and a mega dislocation combined with torn rotator cuff and fractured humerus on the right, also fractured metacarpal.

I'd normally not bother with techy climbs like this, but on an emtb I sometimes feel like superman...

The dead grass stuff was slippery and I had to make a turn on it. I was going a bit slow and it was funneled me into a groove and I lost balance. Tipped over without any place to put a foot down, until it landed into the uneven ground inside the ditch.

I blew the front tire off the bead screwing around and went down. Bent front rim, cracked carbon bars and brake rotor. I had road rash from my ankle to behind my ear. Worst part was the 4 mile walk back to the truck. Not the worst crash but a fun one. I’m good at crashing , which sucks at times ??

Wow. I'm always in pain. Lol. Did the other heel, tib-fib, shattered tibial plateau, a C1 and the dreaded ruptured testicle?

Used to race motocross. I actually feel great when I ride the bike. If I don't ride on a regular basis it all starts to ache. My heel is my only mtb injury.....so far.
