Hello everyone,

I'm 1.78 m tall with an 85 cm inseam. I currently ride a 2024 Wild in size L. Overall, I'm happy with it, but in very technical enduro sections (tight switchbacks, steep terrain, etc.), it sometimes feels a bit too big, and I'd like a little more agility.

I'm now wondering whether to order the 2027 Wild in size M or L. My feeling is that the M would solve the handling issue, but I'm worried it might end up being too small and put me too far over the front wheel on steep descents or technical features.

Are there any riders around my height (1.78 m) who have switched from an L to an M, or had the chance to ride both sizes? Which size would you choose, and why?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I'm 1.75 with 85cm cycling inseam. Not the bike you're asking about, but my wife has a 2022 alloy Medium Trek Rail and I have a 2022 alloy Large Trek Rail. When I ride her bike I love the increased manoeuvrability but coming down can be scarey compared to my Large. Ideally I'd like ML but when switched from Trek Fuel EX ML to Rail could only get Medium or Large so on balance the Large is better for me. But her bike does do tight turns much easier.
