How are you guys finding the seat tube height? On the medium it’s higher than my 2022 levo surprisingly.

Oh yeah that thing. It looks hideous but will do the job. Heavy as a mofo though? The evo is already quite the juggernaut.

Turbo everywhere is going to blow through components quicker? Hey, if you’ve got the cash why not. 2 or 3 cassettes per year I’m comfortable with. Coming from a brose motor, I’m also a bit concerned about motor longevity.

For me personally, by the time I’ve depleted 800w my body is drained more than the battery. Maybe I’m just fat 😂

I guess that’s the beauty of the Karve, we all want different things from it & ride different environments.

In case you missed it in the small image that doesn't show completely unless you click on it ...

Q. Are Karve and Karve EVO compatible with Avinox's range extender?

Sorry no: we don't recommend using the external 600Wh range extender as Karve and Karve EVO have not been designed for it or completed electrical or frame testing with it installed.

Got my RS yesterday and spent all day setting up and doing upgrades - swap out to a Vivid Coil was easy, and the damper swap to a 3.2 Ultimate wasn't too hard either.

Anyone worked out how to de-restrict it yet? All the VPN things dont appear to work...?

Anyone else had their rear wheel out and noticed anything odd? I'm not sure if it's by design (maybe tension or something?) or if I need to go speak to the dealer, but it's like they're splayed slightly by maybe 5mm or for a wider hub...

I had the bike apart to apply the ridewrap (wow that was a pain, 32 pieces...), and only noticed when putting back together not so much taking it apart, but did think it dropped out easy.

EDIT: I should probably mention, this is the stock wheel that came with it.

Ok so first big ride today in the Alps on my upgraded RS. It rides absolutely fabulous on the Ultimate spec suspension. Brakes defo need a bleed as endlessly trapping my fingers behind the levels.

One MASSIVE problem though! All the power is fabulous for about 4 pedals strokes until you hit the limiter. I rode numerous bike park and enduro tracks and I am almost never under 25kph, so any pedal strokes on flatter bits are just treacle. My mate on his unrestricted Amflow PL just disappeared. Tried every way with VPNs and it all works on his M1, but not on mine! Need to find a way......

Hi,
I looked at quite a few bikes and narrowed it down to 4, the favourites being the Karve Evo and the BH Ilynx+DL - Both these became favourites because they were CRB/AL mix.
Comparing them they seemed very similar though the Karve has adjustable bits !
This was before the comparison function arrived on this forum.
I went for the BH because I could get one delivered within a week from a shop in Spain - Both were long waits any other way.
The Karve Evo seems to have better UK availability now and the BH is still a long wait ...

Seems everyone loves the Karve Evo so it would have been a good choice.
Looking at the comparison function it is amazing (or maybe not?) how close the two bikes appear.
I haven't found any proper UK reviews. I am happy with everything about the BH ride from my non pro tester point of view :)

This is the comparison for my Large BH vs Karve Evo.

Rides great but my headset creaks after each ride it's going back to the shop for the 3rd time.
Interesting you said that, I had assumed it was me after swapping the stem over and not quite getting it tensioned up quite right, or it settled in. I'll watch out for that.

The top part of mine isn't level. Can slide paper in at the back but is pinching on the front side. You can get it all working nice but a ride later it's creaking again.

I’ve read 3 or 4 cases of this. Have you reached out to Whyte? Is this a warranty issue?

This is worrying. My bike will
Be here in 6 weeks, fingers crossed I don’t experience the same issue. I hope you get a resolve with this.

I'm waiting on a response.

Im waiting on a response from whyte. I suspect headset is faulty or at least the inner bits. Tempted to swap it out for a hope headset but I want it checked over make sure the frame isn't out of wack or something.

Noticed mine was creaking yesterday on a ride. I'd changed the handlebars so assumed it was something I did.
This seems like it’s becoming quite widespread. Hopefully Whyte create a fix soon and sorts it before it impacts the bikes reputation.

I guess this is a risk we run in purchasing brand new bikes blind.

I took mine apart and put it back together; the creaking has stopped, and it's solid, but it has a gap all the way round. Didn't check before so not sure if it was like this already or not.
