So my mates e160 with smart system controller developed an issue yesterday
He downloaded the Flow app and was trying to pair the bike to the app
The Controller is just cycling through the blue led lights then off again
Bike unable to switch on to see what the issue is
He got the bike to a whyte dealer who connected the controller to Bosch diagnostic and the shop said the controller was doing an update as a green light had appeared on the controller
Once that update finished the controller returned to blue light cycle and the shop says the controller is ok but it won’t connect to the motor or battery
With the wiring etc being up at the headtube it’s a bit of a nightmare I assume to stop the battery connector and see if there’s any issues with wiring??
Or does the controller wire directly into the motor like the older style Purion??
He’s having a nightmare as no shop will look at his bike till mid July after it being in and out of the shop previously for about a month with fork issues
Anyone shed anyone light on a fix would be greatly appreciated
