I just wanted to share my recent positive experience with purchasing my Santa Cruz Vala.

I bought a Vala C 70 a few weeks ago from N+1 Bikes. This was before the free PowerMore Range Extender promo started.

I’ve been riding it for a few weeks now and I saw that promo pop up. Got that feeling like “Damn, I should have waited.” So I hit up Santa Cruz customer service team and asked if they’d help me out.

Sure enough, the dude at Santa Cruz says “Sure, you bought it pretty recently. We’ll hook you up.” And I get a ship notification from FedEx that a package is on its way. They could have easily told me to take a hike and I would had to live with it. Promos have a start and end date, I get it. They took care of me even tho they didn’t have to. Major points in my book when a company values customers more than a few extra dollars on the bottom line.

This is not my first Santa Cruz bike and it won’t be my last. In the past, I’ve had a Bronson, Highball and a 5010. I became loyal to the brand about 8 or 9 years ago because of how well their bikes ride.

This is the first time I’ve had to contact their customer service team for anything, and I’m blown away by how quickly they stepped up to take care of me. They’re a great company and they’ve got my loyalty.

Anyway, that’s my story. They did right by me so I wanted to make sure it doesn’t go unnoticed.

That shouldn't be shocking, but it sadly is. Congrats!
I've also had very positive experiences with Ortlieb here in Germany, should anybody be looking for that kind of gear.
