Why go with a '19 Levo standard. Why are they better than Trek (Rail) and Giant's offerings

First post from a noob here. Purchasing my first Ebike. I'm thinking of going with the Levo base model. The motor issues I keep reading about have me abit nervous though. Also read several posts of others who preferred the handling of the Trek Rail over the Levo. I suspect it's because Spec sells a ton of these. Who test drove the Trek's and Giant's and preferred the Levo?

I test drove new Rail and 2019 Rail . I much prefered the Levo .
