OK collective help me decide which spare battery to carry
I have a Bosch Gen2 with a PowerTube 500. I’m looking to get a spare so I can go faster or further. The issue is do I buy a 400 as they are significantly cheaper or stump up the extra cash for a 500 with around 20% more range
They are the same size and weight so it about the cost/range

Opinions, experience, suggestions and criticism welcome

Go big or go home. In saying that 1000w of battery is a fair whac, my riding buddy carries two and swears by them.

depends on what you expect your max range to be really.
Yeah I know it’s subjective, I’ve done 45km on a single battery, most in eco, and I’m unlikely to want to go much further but I need/want more assistance and that means less range
I would go for the 500 as more is always better and they weigh the same. But the 400 is a lot cheaper and I wondered what others thought about 400wh, it quite small by modern standards but better than nothing
