Where is the Sram Powertrain?

Any news on the Sram powertrain? I imagine there will be an update soon.
Can't believe after all this time there are only a few bikes with the system available.
They must be having big problems.

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if Nukeproof closing has slowed things down with the Megawatt being one of their launch bikes.
 
Newbie here. Just signed up to post that I have 200km on a GasGas MCX4 and am really impressed with the SRAM drivetrain motor so far. All the new full power Gas Gas eMTBs have the Sram Drivetrain. Upper models with wireless derailleur and dropper post. Mine has mechanical GX.

Two modes is slightly limiting, but the app is super easy to customize each mode before or during a ride. I only have about 20km previous experience on a Bosch CX, but I would say that the intuitiveness of the assist delivery is as good or better than "EMTB" mode. Range seems to be about 75 km with the 630Wh battery. I think it might be quieter than Bosch.

The MXC4 seemed to be a much better value in the market in terms of component content for the price. 160mm Lyrik with charger 3 up front, RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ (their website incorrectly lists as Deluxe Select +) out back at 140mm. Full carbon frame. Couldn't touch that spec for under $5k US anywhere else. Paid $4,500.

Or, they have decided to pause things given that the market is in a state of flux, too many media outlets are focused on the power game and so misinforming the consumer as to what represents value in the longterm, SRAM are innovators and have more than likely decided to keep their powder dry until such time they can compete with Bosch and the market disruptor DJI / AVINOX, as I'm sure are the bike manufacturers who were looking to use their power trainers as OE.
 
A Sram powered GasGas come into the shop last month. It needed a new motor, and had less then 50 miles on it.

I think a 10-year old pair of Sram brakes are probably more reliable.

Ouch. Up to 250 km as of yesterday without any hiccup. I guess this is motivation to keep piling on the kms. I'd rather cause a failure sooner rather than later. I'm sure my riding style and conditions are not as hard on things as many.

What were the symptoms? Riding style? Heavy DH?

I did a bunch of research on motors before pulling the trigger on the GG. Sadly, they went away from Yamaha, probably due to early adoption of the AXS ecosystem. Honestly, the only positive reliability reports seemed to be from Bosch and Yamaha. Couldn't find much for Sram, other than some theories that the improvements and development with Specialized might have got them past early issues. I dismissed Shimano due to reliability, lock-out errors requiring replacement and their refusal to provide service parts and infrastructure. The Fauza 60 seems to be complete garbage. I at least found service parts and rebuilders for the Brose. I had hoped that the development with Specialized shook out the early Brose deficiencies.

Somehow the companies need to get to reliable and easily serviceable and MINIMUM of IP65 standard. This is reality. Should be expected to be similar to a bottom bracket bearing set.

KTM rep brought it in, he is using it as a demo bike. It had only seen light XC trail riding. The GasGas is totally marketed to the moto crowd, complete with faux radiator covers and WP labels on the suspension.
