After throwing a code 550 my Rail is at the local Trek store, and anticipating a couple of weeks o_O without my bike, I dusted off my other ‘modern’ bike - going analog on my 1st gen FS bike, c. 1995.

I’ve been riding this while the forks/shock on my Rail are being serviced and upgraded.
Changed the tires on the hardtail for some snowy moments.

Very pleased to say my rail is back, new motor done on warranty in 10 days, and one up 210mm (put down to 190mm) dropper fitted, most excellent service and treatment from trek Milton Keynes.

A 210mm dropper.…wtf. Are you riding an XXL?
I’d have to build a leg-stretcher for that.🤔
My neighbor switched to a 150mm one up from the stock bontrager on his Rail and loves it.
He lent me his used dropper while mine went in for warranty (cartridge). Then I ordered the AXS Reverb last October (probably still on a ship in the Pacific Ocean 👌🏼.
I’m Thinking of putting the rebuilt 150mm Bontrager dropper on my 2020 power fly 5 medium, which would replace the 130mm dropper. Then put the 130mm dropper on the wife’s pf 5. And then put the 100mm dropper from my wife’s bike on my daughters bike…it’s complicated.

No it's a large, and I'm not quite 6ft. Seems fine, and shortest measurement from seat to back wheel is 158mm,when fully dropped. I have the 60mm stroke on the ohlins, which I'm told yields 158mm travel, il let you know if it snags, but I reckon the bump stop on the shock will help me out there.

So this gives me hope that I can shove some larger droppers in. I guess our personal geometry allows us to customize our needs.
nice bike btw…like that shock.

Thanks, I like it.
The one up works very well, considering they just go up n down I find it a bit baffling how there can be so much difference in up n down smoothness, and super easy to adjust the travel, it's only 20mm more drop than the standard post, but does feel really low when I'm riding. I have the 160mm one up on the transition and equally smooth.

The 160mm dropper would probably work for me but I ordered the 150mm AXS Reverb. Not sure if they make a 160mm AXS reverb?
My neighbor’s one up dropper is so smooth. Good choice.
