What happened to n+1

I have an old Spesh hybrid on my turbo trainer, a Trek Fuel EXe, A BMC Fourstroke AMP LT, and a Moustache Samedi26 FAT4. Each performs a very different role to the others and each has a solid reason for being here. However, there is a distinct possibility of adding a Cube AMS Hybrid 177 C:62 TM 600X, and not just because it has an even weirder name than the bike preceding it! 😂

At 1,200+ I have a new chain on the bench ready to go. Cassette and sprocket look ok at the moment . Just crossing fingers I can get a few more miles out of the chain. My Canyon SL bike has the same chain and after 1,700 miles it still looks new.
That's good mileage I was pleased with 700 on a Levo.

n= n+1, where n= the number of bikes I want.

How about s=s-1

s = the number of bikes I have that would make my wife divorce me.

I need a unified theory of bike ownership!

Levo needs some down time . Got a Cairn Egravel bike, Dawes tourer and a 90s custom made hardtail . All lovely bikes to ride in their own genre.

I rode hare scrambles for a dozen years on a KTM 300 so had a background in off road single track. I also am fortunate to live about 2 miles from both a nice single track bike park and a 7 mile concrete walking/bike path around a lake. My first ebike was a Spesh' Tero4X which is considered a hybrid bike thinking it could do both the concrete and single track. It's a nice bike but I was easily finding it's limitations off road so I bought a Spesh' Levo Comp Alloy. Had I bought the Levo first, I probably would not have bought the Tero but I have and ride them both depending on where I'm riding.

My N is a Gen 4 Levo
My N+1 is my old Levo Comp Alloy that I loan to friends who are reluctant to buy their own EMTB ha ha
