I got some ugly mudhugger guards (fenders for your Americans)
The front looks kind of good but yea these rear ones really make a bike look ugly as sin...
also bought some bits and bobs
annoying the smart system doesn't come with a display... atleast throw in the mount kit! jesus £34 bosch! you wouldn't miss it.
waiting on a Bosch Smartgrip for my phone which hopefully comes with the postman sometime soon.

It's insane how few places/people sell the Bosch mount kits or it's contents individually in the UK too...
seems kiox 300 retrofit kits are out of stock everywhere as well, makes me wonder if there's a replacement coming out sometime soon as it appears to be end of the line as far as bosch is concerned.
makes me want to drop around £800 on a spare 750watt powertube sooner rather than later... barely anywhere sells those either.

I have defeated the universe. Bought a pair of Five tens off Evans at Christmas & fell victim to the mass order cancellation many of us were traumatised by. Then this pair which didn't show up for two weeks, prompting a query. Turns out JE James lost the order, then when they found it, were out of stock & then in fairness, sorted me out a pair from one of the shops & a voucher for the hassle.

For the bike in a roundabout way.
Just fitted a solar panel to the van roof in order to charge my Jackery and hopefully have the odd off grid weekend away.
Getting 82 watts of imput from the panel on an over cast day which isn't too bad, the panel is 130w so it'll probably take a couple of days to charge Jackery to 100% .

Hi looks great 👍 if that was fully charged would it fully charge a 700w battery from say 10% ?? I'm really interested in the same idea but really unsure which one to get 🤔

Yeah it would
It will charge my 750wh Bosch battery, there is some lost when using the AC output of the Jackery so when charging mine 1% of the Jackery equates to 1% of the Bosch 750wh battery if that makes sense.
So if my bike battery is at 40% it takes 60% out of the Jackery to charge it.

They're expensive so I'd say get the biggest that your budget allows, don't think I'd go less than 1000w as ebike batteries are getting bigger all the time.

The Conti Kryptotal Fr with Enduro casing and softer compound in comparison will be a replacement for my Levo's original Specialized Butcher, which after more than 6.000 km still has almost its original profile. The Butcher will replace the totally worn out Eliminator on the rear. I can't wait to try out this new tire combination! Nice packaging by Conti btw!

Thanks. And £12 seems an absolute no brainer. Once I've worked out the bearing size I need, I'll get one on order.
Your welcome mate, it is a no brainer, I couldn’t believe how well it worked, I suppose the beauty of it is in it’s simplicity 😉
