Hi
New skid on the block, what’s the best way to leave your battery after riding and in between rides ?

Fully charge when you’ve finished ready for next time ( maybe up to a week before riding again)

leave it with what ever it has left and charge the night before my next ride

Sorry if this is a pretty dumb question ?

The best for battery health is to leave a battery between 40 and 70% charge if possible. Charging the night before would be the healthier option and is what I do.

However, sometimes rides get canned and batteries sit charged for a few days. Don't panic. What you don't want to be doing is leaving your bike for months with a fully charged battery. Or fully flat for that matter.
