Make sure you consider last years models, usually some great savings to be had.

I always say Trek make solid bikes, but that's just me 👍

Yeah tend to agree was looking at specialized levo which seems really good at £3800 but I currently have a cube with Bosch smart system that really like and not sure if I would like the specialized set up , but back to trek I agree

Nice 2024 AllMtn 7 here, was £5299, now £3,699. Only small and large though. And in Essex :D

Polygon can be hard to find in the UK & MBR reviewed the Siskiu, noting the battery fell out of the frame three times. The Raymon has been selling mostly through Paul's cycles at a big discount, leading to lots of people grabbing a bargain. Focus sit in range with the Jam2 but they withdrew from the UK market last year & are only just coming back now with a new distributor, so they are hard to find & support will be patchy. If it were me, I'd be balancing the price, spec & support and that leads to brands like Cube, Whyte & Giant.

Personally, I reckon Cube Stereos/144's and Whyte E160 are very good value for the money. The Whyte is a run out model, replaced by the Kado, so may take some finding now & Cube Stereo's are similar but both are big well supported brands with extensive dealer networks & Whyte are UK based. After that, Specialised Levo's will be in range & are a classic bike with hundreds of thousands sold & the Trek Rail is a solid option although with Trek, lower price point bikes do skimp on stuff like Bearings, hubs and so on, so look beyond the shiny paint job.

I'd go YT Decoy core 2 (20% sale), or a Levo Comp (seems to be lots of deals out there).

Bulls Copperhead Evo am3 is under $4k, has a Bosch Gen 4, very good components, a 750wh battery & is buttery smooth... nicest bike I've ridden (own a Cannondale Moterra Neo3 & a Turbo Levo Comp Carbon)... didn't get the Bulls only b/c didn't have local LBS to serviceit.

Despite the battery disaster at Canyon….. the aluminium Neuron with a Bosch Gen 5 motor and 800w battery are a great option…. Under 4 £k Although I’d upgrade the fork

I’ve just brought a Levo turbo 2025 gen 3 and as my first E-bike I’m well impressed, well built, geometry set up adjustable between 62-67’ if I recall. Pulls well balanced although does weigh in at 24kg.

Yes that's what I got two weeks ago the 25 alloy comp .I had a 2019 carbon levo expert before this, but new one feels more nimble and lighter than expert but it is actually heavier . Enjoy

I don't have a lot of experience with ebikes, but have been mountain biking for 30 years. I recently purchased a YT Decoy Core 1, which was well under $4k. This machine is amazing, and left some funds over for upgrades. The Core 1 is no longer available, but the Core 2 has all the upgrades I would have jumped in on anyway, and under $4k.

I just picked up one of these for my wife when they were $3300. The only thing I'm changing are the brakes, and that's only because all our bikes have Shimano/TRP brakes and I like to keep them all the same for parts reasons (it comes with DB8 brakes which I think get a bad rap, they are much better brakes than people say).

She has been VERY happy with this bike. She struggled with her last 2 bikes and were not really happy with them. I don't think I have ever seen her this excited to ride.

In the states, its really hard to beat the Husky and GasGas bike prices currently. I know nothing of the bikes but DAMN that's alot of bike for the money.

The original Salsa Notch Cues 10 is $2999 and the Deore 12 is $3599
