Hey guys, im still in the market for an e bike, and even though im pretty sure it'll be a Specialized Levo or Kenevo, im still not sure whether the extras are worth the extra cost.
Is the Kenevo worth the extra for someone who just does some casual trails? Ive been whoring myself out to youtube watching everything on offer to help but I just cant decide.

How casual are your trails? Do your wheels leave the ground? Are they all trail center trails?
 
I did the red route at Hopton Wood the other weekend if that's anything to go by. They leave the ground a bit, but not by much. :)
 
They will leave the ground more whatever eBike you get, they are just so much faster than a clockwork bike.

Did you think the red at Hopton was pretty extreme or a bit tame? If it’s the former get a Levo, the latter? Gets Kenevo.
 
One of the great things about e-bikes is you find yourself getting to the tops of hills you wouldn't usually get too - if you enjoy going down them, and want to push yourself, then get a kenevo

Some bits id say were quite tame, but others were definitely pushing my confidence levels. Taking that into account, im probably leaning towards a Levo and maybe upgrading to a Command seat post dropper.
 
I'd recommend demoing both - Rutland Cycles have both £50 for a weekends demo delivered Fri the returned Monday, excellent service Luke is a top bloke.

Had my first ride on the Levo today,......what a machine! Cant get out to use if properly until the weekend so shot it up the steepest hill I could find, whilst trying not to laugh out loud! :D
