Help me with my qaundry;

I have a bike which fits a 225X75 trunnion shock, it currently has a coil and I don't really get on with it. The bike is used purely for bike parks and DH.

There are massive wait times on alot of shocks currently, which leaves me with two options;

Rockshox Vivid air select
Marzocchi Bomber air

Help me out, what do I choose? 👊🏻

I actually have both of those on different bikes. The Marzocchi is a nice shock and usually cheaper than the Vivid... but something I really dislike about is the adjustments don't have indexing - no clicks. It's just smooth ramp making it hard to tune and I use a black marker to make hashes. Lame. Maybe they've changed this in the past two years though.

The Vivid is a nice shock, more money, but I really enjoy the feel and all the adjustments - with clicks. the can is fatter so you need to check fit. No complaints on this one at all from me.

Fox DHX . It is a fox dhx2 but with less settings and cheaper .

A really nice coil to mount on your bike and forget . It works really great out of box.

Vivid will fit, just unsure how good the select damper is as it's the only I can get before December 😅 thanks for the input!

Pretty easy choice to go with the vivid, I would say, coil like, suppleness, one of the better air shocks around. Unless you are mostly going for huge jumps and drops, maybe there is a scenario where the bomber air is better there.
