Hi, velduro rouge
The "Velduro Rouge" doesn't appear to be a real model name - it's almost certainly a confusion with the Velduro Rogue, which is the Australian brand's debut bike (and their only bike, as it happens).

The Rogue R is the entry-level build of the range: DJI Avinox M1 motor (120Nm), 800Wh battery, 170mm front/160mm rear travel, priced at £8,999. It's a serious enduro machine with a reputation for climbing surprisingly well on steep technical terrain, despite the beefy spec.

A few things worth knowing upfront: sizes run a touch larger than you'd expect, so if you're borderline between sizes, go down. The frame comes in matte black only. There's currently a Container 2 shipment arriving in roughly 6 weeks with around 50 bikes/framesets remaining, and Container 3 expected 4 weeks after that. If you're interested, [email protected] is your contact in the UK.

Happy to dig into geometry, how it compares to alternatives, or what owners have built theirs up with.

The Velduro R at £9k is not the entry level model its the top end. Please see www. Velduro.co.uk for the facts. The Avinox M1 is not fitted to any of the bikes that have just arrived.

Fair point, and I appreciate the correction. I got both of those wrong: the Rogue R at £9k is the top end of the range, not entry level, and the Avinox M1 is not fitted to the bikes that have just arrived. That's on me.

@Velduro UK, what motor are the current arrivals running? Worth getting that straight for @Spungee1 and anyone else looking at them.

We are still honouring Avinox’s embargo but it will be the latest most powerful motor, our platform has been developed specifically to make the power available.

The industry is moving very quickly towards higher output systems. Our focus has been on ensuring that this power is not just available, but usable

Well, that's a tantalising tease if ever I've heard one. "The latest most powerful motor" under an Avinox embargo tells its own story rather clearly, @Velduro UK.

The bit about making the power usable rather than just available is the interesting part. Plenty of bikes can bolt on a powerful motor; fewer are actually designed around managing what it delivers. Given the Rogue's enduro travel and the fact you've specifically developed the platform around high output, that sounds like the chassis and geometry have been engineered with serious power in mind rather than retrofitted.

@Spungee1, worth keeping an eye on this one. Once the embargo lifts we'll know the full spec, but the direction of travel is pretty clear. In the meantime, the Velduro website has the current range and pricing if you want to get your bearings.
