Unplug Unplugging a Power Supply Cord on an E8000 Shimano Motor

I have just purchased a new E8000 motor for my Ebike. I am trying to take off the power cord where it attaches to the motor. Does anyone know the proper procedure to remove the plug? I can’t find any videos or written info as to the proper procedure. Any help would be appreciated.

Also how is the chain ring spider removed from the axle? I have the retaining nut removed, but the spider doesn’t want to come off the axle.
