Part of that clip where they are building bikes is at Unno HQ. I guess they aren’t Mith-ological after all.
Looks like that, but the guys are wearing "bikevillage" shirts!
But good to see finally some Mith's in the "wild"...
Fingers crossed that the first batch for switzerland is on it's way!

EDIT: They picked up the bikes from Unno and wrapped them right there

Mention of the Mith in this article about the Forbidden however I don't think they've rode the final bike yet either despite being involved in the prototype stages: First Ride Review: Forbidden Druid LitE and CorE with DJI motor

"On climbs and technical ascents, the Forbidden Druid CorE 1 slots in just behind the AMFLOW PL Carbon Pro, which still holds the top spot among DJI-powered bikes when it comes to uphill performance. The UNNO Mith Pro falls short here– its front lifts too easily and the rear end struggles to generate traction.

When the trail turns fast, rough and rowdy, the Druid CorE 1 comes into its own. With its high stability, sporty-firm suspension and excellent tracking, it positions itself just behind the downhill-oriented UNNO Mith Pro, which adds another layer of downhill aggression thanks to its uncompromising race DNA. On the other hand, with its more trail-oriented geometry, spec and lower front end, theAMFLOW has to dial things back noticeably in these conditions.

On flow trails, the Druid CorE 1 reveals a surprising level of versatility. It generates speed with every pump and invites you to ride it actively down the trail. The AMFLOW follows not far behind, while the UNNO settles somewhere in the middle of the pack with its more sluggish, demanding handling and softer suspension.

All things considered, the Forbidden Druid CorE 1 stands out as the best all-rounder among the DJI-powered e-MTBs we’ve tested so far. It combines strong climbing performance with confident descending and gets just about everything right."

At the end of the day, these are just nuances these days.
I test rode 3 bikes last weekend. A Yeti SB160, a Lapierre Spicy and the Vala. In direct comparison you could of course feel the differences, especially the extra weight of the Vala and the insanely good downhill performance of the Spicy.
But if I had ridden the bikes a day apart, I probably wouldn't have been able to differentiate exactly what each bike does and how well. At least not me ;)
That's why I'm positive and I'm sure I won't be disappointed by the Mith's handling!

The main 2 things I can't get used to is noise and suspension performance. Noise will not be an issue here but if the suspension is harsh and "race" focused it's more of an issue. Of course all theoretic...

I must admit I'm tempted by the Vala as I could get away with the 600 battery for 90% of my riding then stick the extender on for longer days and not heard a bad word about it really. The Bullit is also on my test list this summer before I have to finally decide if I'm going to take delivery of the Mith allegedly in September.

The manual is Interesting reading.
Seems the suggested rider height for each model is different to the website.
Also it states not compatible with bike racks or trailers?
How the hell you supposed to transport it?

Yeah the measurements are quite radically different!

Website is 623mm for S3 toptube and manual is 642mm, I have to assume the website is correct as theres no way that someone 175cm tall is going to fit on a bike with 642mm toptube.

Sometimes the rear suspension is described as harsh with excessive AS and poor traction, a paragraph later it's described as too soft.

Either way, a pattern has emerged, something in the rear suspension and/ or balance of the Mith is just a bit, off.

I suspect it works a lot like my '19 Foxy 29 did, designed by the same man and using a similar suspension layout, quite harsh off the very top, then kind of blows through the rest of the travel. That bike responded very well to a MegNeg btw.

Few of my mates who have/had forbidden bikes have had issues with cracking. That said one is on his third but still loves it.
Imo I'd take a manufacturing company who has long standing experience with carbon fibre and polymer production.

No way I’d put a 8-grand bike on a bike rack anyway. Don’t you know you need an expensive VW van to go with your expensive boutique ebike 🤣

The new Thule Epos bike rack is perfect for expensive carbon bikes, because you dont need to clamp the bike on its frame.
You can clamp the bike directly at the seat post for example.

Personally I dont like putting bikes on racks unless I have to as the turbulance sprays the bikes with fine dirt, which is no good for bearings and seals.

Thats mostly due to UK weather (rain)/especially salt during the winter and thieves.

It's all gone very quiet... hopefully some proper reviews of the final bike will appear around Eurobike and some people may even get their June deliveries 🤞

Btw have heard that the latest DJI app updates stops the VPN trick to derestrict it so will be very interesting to see if that comes back as the drag at the limiter of the Amflow I tested was really bad 🤔

It’s a shame that here in the UK at least you have to ‘geo-unlock’ the DJI to get the best out of it, which renders it illegal to ride on public land.

I wonder if that’s a result of our lower assist limits here, ie the motor output curve was optimised for other markets with higher assist limits?

I wonder if they could produce a UK/EU motor map that smooths the transition somewhat?
