Trying to find the he rebound knob on the fork of my new bike and I’m not sure how to access it. Can’t really find out on directions either. This is what I see where the knob should be and it doesn’t seem to come off easily. Does anyone have any ideas?

The adjustment is under that cap they can be tight to come off but they will move eventually

It's underneath that cover. Cover has threads and twits out from there. Sometimes it gets bit stuck and use pliers to help it out. Do not use any violence or extra force.

Thanks guys. I got it off with a the help of some pliers and electrical tape. Didn’t want to do that until I knew for sure it was supposed to come off.
