I’ve put out a feeler last week to provide a rough estimate count to Troydon and he is now ready to place the order with DJI and would like to have more accurate count.
He has already ordered two, won’t know the cost until they’re delivered but he’s estimating approx $750 each.
If you are serious about buying a Avinox 600Wh battery at approx $750 for your RS 181, send me a DM with following info.

As a sideline Fanboi patiently waiting for the next order window, just curious how much interest this has garnered, and if it’s becoming a reality for those interested?

About 7 Spectre owners are serious about buying one. Couple friends with Amflow and Teewing also want them, just can’t get them in US yet. Troydon was told he’d be able to order them last month but he’s still waiting, so I do think they‘ll be available soon.

I see this is an older post, but did anything ever become of this? I just landed ‘the dot 2’, but with the 800 battery. I will definitely be trying to snag a 600 if there is a way besides simply waiting for amflow to make them available in the states. Well, on second thought, I guess I technically have till April/May since I wont have the bike till then anyway.

DJI have not come through on making 600wh battery available for Troydon to order. But this time he was able to order them at same time new frame sets were ordered so there’s hope😊.

I almost crapped myself…. I saw it was in US dollars. Then read the Asterix 😂

Does anyone know if the 600wh battery sits a the top of the down tube or the bottom? I've only seen graphics of the batteries and it appears the contact points are at the top of the batteries which leads me to believe the shorter 600wh slides into the down tube further towards the head tube to make contact with the power plug. Is that correct?

Sits at the bottom hence top screw for smaller battery is on underside of down tube, top screw on 800wh battery under the screen is no longer used.

Is the 600wh available to purchase in the US? How? I am unable to request DM yet, so feel free to message me if possible.

I meant is the 600wh battery itself.
With introduction of 700Wh (slimmer, longer) battery and new 600Wh (thicker, shorter) battery, I would not be surprised if 1st gen 600Wh battery is discontinued.
New 600Wh can be used as external range extender or internally, on Amflow PR models.

@BikingBad I am able to send other people direct message, but that option doesn't come up on your screen name. Seems like you have connection to get 600wh?

I wish I did as there is demand for them. Unfortunately, Avinox did not make them available to buy in U.S. at all.

Does it clarify anywhere if the 600wh option we chose at time of order is indeed the newer version?
The new 600/800 are not an option because Crestline uses "internal" batteries, and the new ones are for bikes with slotted frames. The Crestline frames use internal batteries only, old 600/800 or new 700 according to Rob on one of the other threads.

There seems to be confusion because CL built the frames to allow for relatively easy removal of the old internal batteries, while same batteries on old Amflows were considered not-removeable.

Thank you!

Correct. Same batteries but Amflow PLs require dropping the motor for battery removal.

Is this still something we can get in on ? I'm looking for a 600wh batter, can't seem to find anywhere on line to buy.

Unfortunately no. Looking like another 3-4 weeks before batteries (existing & new) will become available for purchase through Amflow U.S. or any other Avinox equipped U.S. bike companies.
