Trek rail 9.8 Fork bearing,races.

Im going to install new forks, and would like to have new crown race etc in case I kill old ones. But Im not sure on the part numbers. Anyone done this. ALSO I have crown race puller, and the other needed tools. Im thinking I can pull and replace BUT If anything goes sideways Id like to cover my ample backside.

If you have a CR Puller u should be fine. Just make sure you cut the steerer tube to the correct length. That's the only part of a fork install that can go wrong.

I was a plumber in prevous life so I always cut once measure twice. or try to lol.
