Hi guys looking for advise coming from a Large Levo 2021 which I found a little big. Going to pull the trigger on a Trek Rail 9 2022 but unsure what size M or L I’m 5:10.5 I’ve sat on both in a shop obvs the L sits better but can’t tell nothing sitting in a shop on them what your guys advise ?

My neighbour has the Large Trek Rail 7. At the time of her purchase this seemed to be the right size. She is 5’10”. She now wishes she had the medium. If she got the medium size she could increase the dropper to a 170mm and adjust the stem size. I have a medium Rail 9.7 and a 170mm dropper will work. There’s always a little room for body size changes. Depends on what our personal dimensions are.

I ride mainly bike parks so I’m thinking the medium would be better just so unsure

5'10.5" here and have been riding a L Rail 9.8 for two years now and love it. Could probably get away riding on a M but I like the stability of the longer bike on steep tech. Bike jumps like a dream. Trek really need to make a M/L for the Rail. I think the new 2022 Rail 9.8 at 490 reach would be too big for me.

I'm 5'8" and ride the alloy 2022 rail 9 in a medium, it did feel a little short coming from a Trek LT9 M/L sized bike to begin with.
Totally used to it now and love it in the tighter stuff over the larger LT9.
