I rode today and tried auto ride tracking on, same result. So removed the app again and reinstalled. We'll see what happens next ride.

Yes, on a Levo. Unless you are a really fast, hard hitting rider, it’ll be overkill and won’t solve your problem. Spend the money on a tune and coil kit for your 36. That’s what I did, along with an X2 in the rear. I’m an ex pro motocrosser, so I’m not slow. I couldn’t be happier with the setup and I can’t find any fault with it. If you’re not running 2.6” tires, that will also help you. Anything you can do to get compliance will help. A 38 will not do that for you.

X2? I have an 2024 X2 rear and really have not been that impressed with it. But that is another conversation.
I have been riding mtn bikes for a long time and spent several years riding and racing dirt bikes too.
Buddy picked up a 38 for his normal bike and likes it. Not an X2 though. I am going to get a ride on it.

The 2024 X2 is about as good as it gets, if it’s specifically tuned for an EXe and set up properly.
38MM Forks was too stiff for me at 220 ppounds. Currently on 35mm Lyrik and found it to be the sweet spot.
I was a huge fan of the X2 before i struggled with the reliability issues of the 21+ versions. I tried the 24 Vivid air and there is no going back.

it's like 3 easy bolts to pull the battery, then you can see the entire housing. depending on how tight the routing is, you might have an easier time rotating the motor out of the way, good idea to grease the motor mount bolts once in awhile anyway.

Rode yesterday, was cold, below 50, should not be an issue, but there was a slight one. Had it happen eractically a few times over a 7 mile ride before dark. The assist would not pick up for several pedal strokes, say 30 feet or so when on and off pedaling. These were sections where there would be undulately terrain, small ups and downs. Rode in mid level most of the ride. No display errors, just lack of motor picking up at the first pedal. Anyone experience this? After the first time I wiped off the pick up and magnet for the speed sensor. Weren't really dirty.
Also, tracking worked the whole time, but mileage seemed short.

Did 18 miles yesterday, did not pause on power during the ride. Must not like cold. LOL app did shut off after 9.7 miles though. This aggravates me.

Interesting to hear your view on the 38 being too stiff at your weight.
I'm ~240lbs and am running the Fox 38 with Grip2 at 160mm and like it a lot. It feels supportive and very comfortable too.
I'm by no means hitting things at pro speeds but it helps with any questionable lines I force the bike into.
That said it does weigh more than the Lyrik select+ it came with.
That Lyrik is remarkably good, even at 150mm and the bike feels more agile and easy to handle as a result of the lower weight and the steeper HTA.
I'm running the 38 fork as I had it to hand, not because the Lyrik was deficient at all.
Doing back to back runs with both helps. The 38mm is stiffer / heavier, not a bad thing on a ebike. The 35/36 are lighter/plusher. All depends on your riding style. For me, i prefered a lighter plusher front end. I noticed more agility in climbs and better traction on descents. The 38mm was also good, but too much of a fork for trail riding in my area (east coast)

You can tune a 38 to be as plush as you want, though it will always be heavier. Fox does not have buttercups though, so the rockshox has that edge if you upgrade to those.

Yeah they store codes, get it checked out and updated, let your dealer know of your issues. It also shows average rider input so know that if you're out there soft pedaling, they are gonna see that.
I have a feeling people weren't responding because you were speaking into the void without giving many details. What gear were you in, uphill, downhill, etc and then talking about an app not working, this isn't a phone megathread.
FYI these bikes are not like full fat bikes. They do not react well to low cadence pedaling, they want to be ridden with a higher pedaling RPM like an acoustic bike. If you leave it in a high gear like say one of the 3-4 smallest and try to pump the bike back and forth like a bmx bike to get rolling or through a techie section, you're gonna have a bad time.

The app goes with the bike. Riders have all types of phones. Seems the easiest and best place to ask as it all revolves around the bike.
I explained pretty simply what happened. I have logged hundreds of miles this year since buying it. This isn't some odd newb not understanding how the bike works. This is normal riding, with the motor not picking up with pedal action, for several yards of pedaling.

I'm making assumptions based on the level of detail you still have not provided. Take that level of detail to your local mechanic, and they are going to ask for more info as well, but if they can reproduce it they should be able to assist. One thing you can try is to switch to the screen that shows rider power and assist power, and see if it's not registering your assist, or if it is showing assist power that you're not feeling.
They also likely will not troubleshoot your app, whichever app you happen to be using, on whatever phone you happen to be using, as you mentioned neither. As for the app not tracking miles accurately, if you're depending on GPS tracking in the woods there are a lot of variables, line of sight, refresh rate, the app itself, etc.

That's me. Can't quite get full insertion. I have 30mm of post exposed with my seat at the correct height. Sorry, I don't recall how far in it went before bottoming out, I think not too much deeper.
This might actually help figure out the problem. Mine was registering the power intermittently. They ended up replacing the motor but it was making the dreaded noise as well. One thing I did check before they replaced it was the spacing of the speed sensor to the magnet and it was over spec, so I padded it out to get it closer which seemed to help.
Just picked up a very discounted new 9.7XT. Havent had chance to ride the bike yet due to injury but looking forward to see how it compares to the levo sl2.
Nice muddy ride out. Shame the paint work seems as thin as anything and the undercoat is bright white!! Have a few white chips appearing here and there!

Motor need to be replaced, friend of mine had this issue this summer - in Alps, we did rather decent distanses every day -(50-70km) with up to 4000m of altitude (a bit more than half with lifts) and it started on day one (out of six). First three days he lost support for 5-10 s following days it double (every day) and last day he had analog bike with very sporadic support.
I got bikeyoke 215mm in large it is just OK - but won’t go anymore into frame. It is exposed around 40mm

I have 2 rides now on a set of Race Face Next 36 Carbon wheelset. Which are 36mm internal width. Total weight savings is 350 grams. Compared to the 9.7 Bonty wheels. I didn’t think I’d notice a difference in the weight. But the weight is very noticeable, especially on the climbs. It feels like I have an extra power mode. I was also able to drop front and rear psi by 5 pounds on Maxxis 2.6 Recons. Overall compliance is better and they are quieter than the OEM wheels. And, they were like 60% off. Can’t go wrong with that.
On another note, my bike sat fully charged for about 5 weeks while my UDH and chainstay were getting replaced under warranty. On yesterday’s ride my battery range was significantly lower compared to usual. On today’s ride, I rode further and used 25% less battery, I’m wondering if that’s because my bike sat for a while fully charged. I started both rides at 100%. It’s the first time I’ve noticed a difference in battery performance.
On another note, my bike sat fully charged for about 5 weeks while my UDH and chainstay were getting replaced under warranty. I’ve noticed the same when just leaving my bike plugged & charging overnight. It’ll say 100%, but will go through the first 10% super fast.
Then doing the same route after charging for 4hrs, I get much better range.
People tell me I’m wrong and I’m no electrician, but I repeat the same local route and see a 15% variation.
I think it’d be ideal to use a timer so power to the charger cuts off just after a full charge.
