Hallo, on the TQ range extender for a Megamo Native purchased in October 2025, I recently noted a crack in its body. It has only some 5-7 charging cycles. After checking with a friend who has a BMC Fourstroke with the same TQ system, but already 2 years old, he noted an even worse crack, as shown in the images of both extenders. Have others with TQ range extenders also noted such cracks, and are they something to worry about?

The title says "after a few months", what's the warranty on that? I'd be checking my documentation and exploring replacement options.

Not that it's the same, but check out the long, long, long saga of the Canyon Spectral:ON/Torque:ON batteries (here). Those cracks seemed smaller and were worrisome enough for Canyon to issue a stop ride. Take that with a grain of salt, though -- totally different products.

If it was me I would make a warranty claim right now while still within the warranty period.
