Hey guys could use a little help from any bike mechanics.
I was riding the other day and noticed some noise coming from the head set. I also moved it around and it was a little loose. I could feel a little play. I took out the bearings and cleaned and re lubed everything. The steer tube bolt says to torque to 4Nm but what do I torque the stem bolts. I cant find the specs for this? Anyone know?

One thing I like about the treks is just about every bolt has the torque specs unfortunately the stem bolts or stem doesn't mention it. If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like 5.2NM max

Nice thanks disnt see it. But now that you pointed it out mine has that as well.

Steerer tube, 4nm. Ensure there is no lateral movement. Then tighten the stem bolts to 5nm (or whatever the manufacturer of that stem recommends) and align the bar. That’s how I do it.
Use a point on your fork to help centre /position your bar.
Btw I’m not a bike mechanic.
