I've got one of those, I don't live in Gloucestershire but I will be at FOD on Sunday if that's any help. I don't have a Shimano motor anymore so it's not been used in years

I had an E8000 in a Merida E160, I had one total E010 error, iirc, that resulted in a two week trip for it to my LBS for a warranty replacement, apart from that it was good. My concern at the time was the warranty was running out, Shimano didn't offer any extension with the replacement, so I replaced the bike.
Using the tool enabled customisation of the modes, that was my reason for purchase at the time.
Anyway, if you are around on Sunday and want the tool you can have it, maybe for the price of a coffee

There's traffic issues due to roadworks on the outskirts of Gloucester. Take that into consideration depending on where you're coming from

South coast, hopefully not too bad on a Sunday

Last I heard/saw the roadworks were going 6 days a week so Sundays should be relatively ok.
I'll be finding out myself on Sunday in a van with no AC
That's the roadworks on the Over bridge....Coming up from the South Coast you may run into the A417 issues too no idea of the status with those. There may be others.
It does seem like they're surrounding Gloucester with roaadworks, trying to stop us getting out I think.
