thinking of range extender, questions (M10)

I've been doing some longer rides and running the internal battery flat. So I'm considering range extender. Can you put a water bottle in the battery cage when not using the extender?
My understanding is the bike uses the extender first then internal battery.

Anyone have an extender they want to sell by chance?

Yes, a water bottle fits in the extender holder, you are correct in that it uses the extender first and no, my extender isn't for sale...
