Took a few minutes to make the below basic gizmo from 15mm x 2mm aluminium strip. After releasing Shimano clutch use it to hook the derailleur onto the chain stay. Lots of loose chain so easy rear wheel removal and installation.

I like that, I always seems to get into a wrestling match every time I try to insert the rear wheel.
This might just help me out.

Why have Shimano not started to put a lock out on the hanger like Sram have? seems a much better system.
Perhaps a patent, a NIH (Not Invented Here), manufacturing/marketing/tech issue ...

There's a simple way of lubing fork seals.

Pipe cleaners. Bought a pack from Hobbycraft. They're 12 inches/30cm long. Drip WPL Forkboost Lube onto the fork seals, work it around with the pipe cleaner. Compress and release the forks, wipe off the excess. Job done.

I use a short length of string with a small hook at each end made from sturdy copper wire; one hook sized to fit round the pedal where it bolts to the crank (or through the hole in the crank end if the pedal is removed for transport) and the other smaller to hook to the end of the derailleur.

I decided to make a quick little bike stand. I come from a dirt bike background so I wanted a center stand like I used to use on my dirt bike.

This I made this trail maintenance tool. I know you can buy tools similar to this but I wanted one that was a little wider and with sharpened edges to cut through roots and whatnot.
