Hi there.
Did any of you guys get the frame changed under warranty beacuse of creaking noise??
My Rise H30 have been a creaking hell since I got it In 2022. The old main link axle I had to glue together and it helped at that time. I have had every bolt/axel out and greased them and regreased angain . 2 months ago i got the new link axle kit under warranty and mounted it. It helped for a while. I have at the same time changed all bearings in the frame. The only thing that seems to help is to change the main pivot bearings. Then creaking is gone for about 80-100 km but it always comes back. For me it is impossible to press in the enduro bearings (I have a press tool) without the bearing feels rough when I turn them. It feels like the hole is too small. The hole to the main pivot bearing seems to be 0,15mm smaller than the bearing. If I change to a Hope stainless hub bearing it pops in as it should do But creaking always comes back. It is so annoying. I have tried every trick I know of and read almost everything about it 😊 My wife has a Rise M20 from 21 and it never said a single sound. When I got the bike the bearing to the rear axle disc side was not pressed in either. I the start to believe there is something wrong with frame.
This weekend I have rented a Santa Cruz Vala. It is heavy but man I enjoy the silence

I had a 21my rise (carbon) which I no longer have and my wife has a 21my (carbon) rise still to this day. I went through 2-3 sets a year of main (chainstay) pivot bearings and rear concentric axle bearings. Her frame has bearing bores that are pretty decent, but even on her frame, the berings feel a tiny bit notchy once pushed into the bores. My frame was not so good, particularly the rear concentric pivot/axle bearings. Eventually, I used sandpaper to enlarge mine slightly, then used green retaining compound.

My frame did have persistent creaking issues like you're stating, it would be tolerable for a short time frame after putting new bearings in... then it would start again.

It's part of the reason i sold mine, well that and the failed motor. But TBH even if the motor was OK i'd had enough of the noises. I'm a decent mechanic and i am good at making/keeping bikes silent... but the Rise was a step too far.

Yes the creaking drives me mad too.. Everytime you think you have nailed it and noise is gone. It shows up another place on the bike 🙄 I will though say this time it was not the Rise. I found out my almost brand new Bikeyoke Revive 3.0 made a little creaking noise. The dropper lost pressure and it creaked in it's up and down movement. I changed it to a ridgid seat post and the Rise is for now silent 😶 I found out 8 hours after I bought a brand new Santa Cruz Vala 🙄😁

I'd be removing the bearings and getting a gauge in there to measure the diameter and to that the holes were actually round , because going by your description they might not be either.

Thanks for you suggestion but unfortunately I dont have a gauge to measure how round the holes are but I noticed the bearings from Hope popped in as they should. Time will tell if they last lomg enougn

Have you cleaned and greased the seatpost, they can creak like mad (my old Marin had to be done every month or so), also check the saddle rails and mount.

Thanks for your input. Yes I cleaned it and regreased it many times and also changed seatpost. The last thing I regreased was the bearing cups in headset. That helped a lot. For now the bike has been silent for about 300 km which is impressive

I now have over 400 km on the bike and the creaking is still gone. So nice 🙂

I have the same issue withe the dropper and the seat. Got the Ergon seat replaced under warranty. Seat creak is gone but dropper still creaks when fully up. Drop it a couple of inches and all gone. Not even going to try to get Orbea to warranty it. I went ahead and ordered a OneUp.
