Just got my Teewing built and first few rides under my belt so thought I would share my build and try to answer any questions anyone might have. Bought this as a frame only option and built it to my specs.

Build is as follows:
  • Teewing Turbo Force team frame (Medium, I'm 5'8, 155lbs)
  • Fox 26 Factory grip X2 fork, 160mm
  • Fox Float X2 Factory rear shock, 150mm
  • Sram XO drive system With rear derailleur integrated into the Avinox battery so fully functional smooth shift etc.
  • 155mm crank arms with a 36 tooth front sprocket
  • E'thirteen Flux Grappler aluminum wheels with sidekick hubs (had originally planned on putting a set of nice carbon wheels I had laying around on it but the freehub threads got mucked up so had to throw these wheels for now, they work great just a little on the heavy side)
  • E'thirteen base stem, 40mm
  • Oneup Carbon Bars, 35mm rise
  • Diety grips
  • Oneup Dropper post
  • WTB Volt saddle w/titanium rails
  • Crank Brothers Mallet enduro Clip peddles
  • Magura MT7 Pro brakes
  • Magura MDR-P 203mm rotors

Future upgrades? Maybe new wheels, E'thirteen helix Carbon or allot cranks, magura HC3 levers.

Purchased the bike through Drip Ebikes here in the US, they were extremely helpful and other then having to wait for a slow shipment everything turned out great and very pleased over all. They went above and beyond for me during the build process.

Pricing came in less then the Amflow Pro but I got some parts on sale and had a couple small things already etc) but it was a considerable savings over the pro's normal US price.

I've put about 30 trail miles on it the past 2 days, first day was straight out of the box to trail without dialing in the setup too much. Wasn't a big fan of the Avinox motor behavior in the stock settings but after playing with the settings today it is much more to my liking with a more natural feel vs the balls to the wall feeling under the factory settings.

After tweaking the settings and riding again today I was all smiles and couldn't be happier, the bike rode amazing and handled well. Looking forward to dialing it in a little more but it's feeling pretty good right now.

Bike is quiet, no cable rattle, motor rattle etc. can only hear a slight buzz of the motor but it's barely noticeable.

Side Note: All Teewings are sold with the "international" version of the Avinox (no US version) so it was locked at 20mph when I activated it here, however I was able to VPN to Hong Kong and it now does 28mph though there is no category for it in the settings. I didn't try New Zealand but after reading other posts I question whether that works any more (at least for some)

If anyone has questions feel free to ask and I'll try and answer.

Looks awesome
Is that a custom color?
How long did it take to get?

Thanks!
It's the color scheme that the race team used. Not sure how many they produced or if they will continue to make them in that color? I got mine from Drip-Ebikes, they already had one on order when I reached out to them. Took about 4 weeks to get the frame in from shipping and all the parts ordered etc.

For anyone interested, I added ride wrap to my teewing yesterday. Came out pretty good and I think it provides pretty good coverage overall.

Something to be aware of, the mud flap on the rear triangle has 3m tape under it. Mine wasn't applied (backing still on) and it was rubbing the paint so it may be something you want to check on if you own one. The ride wrap covers under it now and I removed the backing and stuck it down.

How does it rides compared to other emtb's you've owned/ridden?

You nay want to consider some Oak Components brake levers. From my experience, much better quality than options from Magura.

Easy enough to run rear brake and dropper cable? Does motor have to come out?
