Well, I didn't think an e-bike was coming this soon, but I finally realized if I wanna spend more time descending this year - then an emtb is the answer.
I'm in Citrus Heights/Sacramento, CA.

Now to figure out which bike is for me!!

Take a drive down to Santa Cruz & do some rentals. You can rent a Heckler at Santa Cruz, and 2 versions of Specialized bikes at the Specialized center there. Ride them up to Wilder Ranch... I ended up buying a Heckler a couple of weeks ago.

Or... If you can wait...

Attend the Sea Otter Classic in April & test ride a bunch of bikes...

Hi! Greetins from snowy Finland. This is exactly what I have been thinking also. With emtb I can do so much more descending. I am considering Pole Voima but havent still decided 100%

What a lot of us find is that climbing becomes just as much fun as descending ..with the tool to climb technical ascents that were not possible before ..and that is the really beauty of owning an ebike ..
