Stereo Hybrid 2022 / 2023 - Tweaking cover / cap / lid of the charging port to prevent losing it

Hello,
I had issues with the slidable closing lid of my 2022 Stereo Hybrid for the power connector. Sorry if the choosen definitions might not be correct.

When sliding it to the side to open for charging the battery it came already two times off from the center screw. The overlapping of the head of the screw is to small for the hole in the plastic lid. I fixed it with a washer but will look for a new screw with wider head.

Measured dimensions of the lid and screw see pics. Just in case the lid is lost, there is 20-03711 on the inside what is the part number. Today 3,95€ plus shipping at Nanobike , click.

Arminius did you find a better screw? I nearly lost my cover on my second ride out with a new bike, clearly not a great design!

No, bit the washer does a good job.

I mounted the toolbag to the saddle. The front strap goes around the inner tube, no scratches or damage till now. There's no other acceptable place on this bike.
