Hi has anyone experienced this issue, the bike wont power up from the TCU unless I open and close the charging cover/battery connector first. It will then work okay for the day but after leaving overnight the problem returns. No error lights or other issues just this weird startup issue. The contacts are clean and new power cable etc so I've no idea why it's doing this? any help would be much appreciated as its quite annoying.

Hi Peter, it may be a small amount moisture in the connections which the overnight storage may be provoking; some people replace the rubber ring around that area and some add something like vasoline to the rubber ring which has helped the situation.

I also had a similar problem and it ended up being a faulty power cable (2020 Levo) which the bike shop replaced - my original power cable was only 5 months old so it could be a similar issue. This fixed the problem for me.

Hope that helps

Cheers
