Speedbox 3.1 giant issue

Hi folk I've got a trance e+3 fitted with energy pack and speedbox 3.1 for giant all worked fine together until the bearing went in the motor. Now with a like for like motor fitted the speedbox won't work with the energy pack on but without the energy pack on it's fine and doesn't switch off
