hi - first time poster - i have a gen 3 that i adore and i just demo'd a gen 4. i thought there was way too much power when i was trying to start up from stopped on steep terrain - the bike would try to shoot out from under me in turbo or trail modes (while eco didn't have enough power). i haven't played with dynamic tuning or auto modes - could that help this issue? is it something i just have to get used to vs my gen 3? or is there maybe just too much torque and power on this motor? thanks so much for your thoughts and help!

I ended up turning the responsiveness down to the minimum. I think it's less too much power, and more a software failing/rotational sensor not being high enough resolution.

it’s a very powerful motor. I have eco set lower than default, use auto- mainly on the trails. Don’t use trail or turbo unless absolutely necessary for a very short time. I have shuttle off, responsiveness low and overrun low.

I kind of regret updating the software because it does have more power than i need 99% of the time, and so i have to turn down the assist to get the feel and battery life i had before. I will say that i loved the extra power when it came to steep climbs and roads in class 3. It is easy and fun but again the extra juice is largely unnessasary for average weight people.
