I tried and it doesn't work, 0/100 is like pedaling with the engine off...Isn’t there a 0/100 setting in the dynamic microtone mode that still provides motor assist? Perhaps that is an option.

No, it still pushes harder and fuel consumption goes hand in hand...Restricting it to 80% is about the same as the gen3. So should feel the same as a gen 3 on 20/100
I've never thought in terms of kilometers, but always only in terms of elevation gain. And then there are so many variables that it's impossible to make a comparison, and such a value expressed in kilometers wouldn't make much sense. I repeat, because I've already said it, the Levo 4 would need new firmware that allows the motor to assist a little less to increase the range for those who want to pedal a little more; it could be a 5/100...How many km 10/80?
Whab about 30/50? Everything xx/100 is too much, on Gen2/3 I ve been using 35/55 90% of the timeNo, it still pushes harder and fuel consumption goes hand in hand...
Don’t want to open a can of worms here especially with that one guy who lives in the Levo threads just to say he hates it but…had my Levo just over a month now after having a Amflow.
So we agree the (Ease of Access) is the problem, even at 10% 10/XX I feel like it way to easy to access that % motor assistance (XX). Access to max XX is determined by by cadence, so dropping gears makes this easy. If your riding 10/80 ease of access doesn't seem to matter, but if I ride 10/20 on really steep climbs then this bike is harder to climb with than my Stumpy. I am uncertain how they improve the ease of access as long as its linked to cadence. I mean one way would be if you could enter your personal FTP and use that as a reference point for down tuning. Anyways, my whole purpose of my original post was that even a setting like 10/30 accesses 200+ watts and thats pretty crazy for the average joe... and still chomping at that batteryMy criticism is different. With 10% ease of access and 30% max power, I (and the group of 6 Turbo Levos I ride with) lose progression in the assistance. The motor behavior becomes almost on/off: we reach the bike’s maximum support too early.
limbs, when my legs are pushing 300 W, I may need more than the 220 W the motor can give, because I limited max power to 30% to save battery.
What was the Battery charge level at the end of the ride? Based on the stats from the linked Strava recording, I assume somewhat about 50%?The results show essentially identical fuel consumption between the Brose and the Bosch...

No snow in Aosta? Did you do the Mallatra with an ebike?Today, I went out for a fuel consumption comparison test with the Bosch 5, following the same route, except for the approach to the Bosch meeting point (a couple of kilometers on flat ground).
The results show essentially identical fuel consumption between the Brose and the Bosch, with the Brose set to ECO 10/50 and the Bosch to ECO + 4 to achieve the most similar pedaling effort possible. - 04 - 2026 Unità cinofila 042 | Strava
Logically, he was talking about downhill sections, enduro level, without pedaling and therefore without a motor.Yeah, but faster on the trail or because of the motor? Because it's no surprise it would be faster overall when you compare it with a bike with a less powerful motor.
did you do it? smooth install? Worth it?yes, i have
Yes, there is a whole thread about it!anyone got this email?

I'm now being told that there will be a Gen5 in June this year - is this common knowledge or just hear say at this point?
And reliable source by the way, he was almost bang on about the Gen 4.

Yeah, funnily enough I retorted with this idea myself - but he stuck to his guns and said, no, Gen 5.Doubt it since they so far has released a new generation every third year (G4 was delayed) but maybe another bike but still it's a G4 or something new like maybe a new Kenevo?
