Just a quick one, is it possible through the Connect app to vary the amount of assistance given by the motor in the different modes, ie eco, tour, Emtb and Turbo as you can do on the Shimano e-Tube app?

Yes, if you have a Nyon display, you can purchase (for a relatively low amount) 4 user modes. Here you can set the engine assistance completely individually. It works really well, I think.

No unfortunately I have the Kiox display which still connects to the app on my phone by Bluetooth, so that is a no goer there then?

I think yes unless you upgrade to Nyon. As far as I know the cables can be reused, only the mount has to be replaced.

If you've got the smart system, kiox 300 you can adjust turbo and eco modes. Emtb and tour + cannot be adjusted.

Oh well, a least it feels faster/gruntier than my old Shimano e8000 motor so I should be satisfied with that I suppose. And I'm loving the eMTB mode as all you have to be is in APPROXIMATELY the right gear.
