So......Fazua abandons the range extender just days/weeks before promised release....

Fazua now is a great motor, punchy, silent and reliable (finally) with great efficiancy .
With the 480w battery I dont see the need for an extender.
However, due to their lack of reliability in the early days, the whole extender joke and not offering a real adcanced full power system, I dont see them last in this market.

Porsche is coming out with a new full power motor that will not be produced by Fazua.

Does anyone have any info on the "offer" they have to existing customers? I've heard lots of rumors but nothing concrete.
You can just go to your bike shop where you bought it and tell them to reach out to fazua and let them know you wanted to buy the range extender but now that it's not being made you heard they're doing a deal. That worked for me. Just got mine yesterday.

Definitely perplexing that a company owned by Porsche cannot product an extender, but not using Fazua for a full-power motor is really really odd. I hear that the Fazua is a very efficient motor so I hope they stick around. Once OEMs bail on a motor, it is really hard to come back.

A Contract Breach Claim? You must prove a valid contract existed. Email from Fazua stating/promising extender will be shipped in September. You performed your part, By purchasing a bike with a Fazua motor. The other party failed to perform their part, Fazua did not build or supply range extender. You suffered damages as a result. Battery went dead on a ride. You had to walk out several miles, out of water and blood blisters on both feet, before being saved by search and rescue!!

Perhaps Fazua is a victim of a "realignment" ...

Porsche is facing significant financial problems due to a 99% collapse in its operating profit in the first nine months of 2025, falling from over €4 billion to just €40 million. The main causes are a costly strategic realignment of its electric vehicle (EV) strategy, challenging market conditions in China, and US import tariffs. The company expects 2025 to be a low point, with a profit margin of about 2%, but anticipates improvement from 2026 onwards.

I emailed FAZUA's US customer service and received a phone call response. They have always been really good at getting back to me and going above and beyond to help.

On that note, they replied what @Mishtar said to go to any bike shop (I bought mine direct through YT, so the dealer is not an option) that's a QBP dealer and they could order it. I checked and it was going to be almost $500 and then 2 hours labor for the dealer to install. I have removed my battery before and asked if I could install it and they said no.

Yeah the pricing is weird. Mine came to just under $430 Canadian after tax so it should be around $310 USD.

I would like to get a new SL eMTB next year. I may end up with Levo SL (again but new version) though I do not like the whine that motor produces. I hear the TQ is quiet so may have some options with the TQ.

The Loam Wolf is almost through their SL shootout, should help the research. If I was going SL, it would be one with the TQ system.

Hi guys,
Has anybody tried any product from e-batterycenter.com?

I have found they made custom range extender for Fazua Ride 60 bike:

I have sent RFI for any details and will reply soon (hopefully).
Thanks for any hints regarding e-batterycenter referral.
