Small rear mudguard

Now that the trails are drying out a bit, I’ve removed the carbuncle from the back of my bike, so need a smaller rear mudguard. Has anyone fitted an RRP Proguard rear or anything similar to their Cube?

I tried fitting my front Mudhugger, but it was too tight, as there’s not a lot of clearance, with 29” wheels. I can’t find the RRP in stock online, so if anyone has fitted a small rear mudguard, what have you fitted?

Pro guard rear just after fitting.

Not much use in any real slop, but helps with lighter stuuf

I've got a Mudhugger front mudguard in the garage that I'm going to take a hacksaw to in a minute!

This is my temporary solution. The rear tyre gets pretty close, but I’ve done about 100 miles with it fitted, with no issues.

I run a topeak 650 for the winter as well as the RRP. It’s quick release so easy to bin off as soon as the sun shows its face.

They're not due in until next week. RRP have orders shipping to everyone, but nobody has stock, which is why they won’t dispatch until the 9th.

Oh okay but I physically saw them in store yesterday when I picked up some pedals. Perhaps only ship from warehouse and out of stock there.

Several websites I went on said shipping next week, so they’re probably sent centrally. I’ll check with the company I ordered from tomorrow, and see what they say.

Thought that was an xc-11 ? What is different ? Holds well ?

I use a Mucky Nutz front long mudguard on the rear of my Haibike. Works very well for keeping the area around the bottom of the shock a lot cleaner.

There’s not enough clearance on the bottom bracket on a Cube with a 29” to run one of those, unfortunately.

My Front Mudhugger arrived this morning, very quick delivery to Ireland . Tax was removed so only paid 25stg instead of 30stg which was great and I didn't get stung for Irish VAT. Waiting for the RRP Rear to be in stock now
